MINI MICHTO & MAXI MICHTO classes are general art classes. Our philosophy is based on the creative experience first, so the class is not focused on a finished product but more on what the child will learn through experimenting with different mediums and materials (watercolor, acrylic paint, ink, collage, pottery, sculpture, etc.). From time to time, of course, there will be beautiful things to bring home, but it will not be the main focus of the class. The main idea is to let the child experiment and find their own way of expressing through art !

This class will teach the basics of drawing & illustration to children aged from 10 years old onward, through various fun & creative activities. We will use different tools and techniques, and discover the different graphic elements needed to represent what we see in our everyday life… The children will also have a glimpse of perspective methods to give them everything they need to feel confident in their drawing.
This class will teach the linocut engraving and printmaking methods to children aged from 10 years old onward. Linocut is a beautiful and simple technique which is a variant of woodcut. After carving, the linoleum sheet is inked and then impressed onto paper of fabric, which allows multiple creative choices, and hours of fun experimenting ! The Printing Club will also work on making paper or binding books !
