This workshop is an introduction to ceramic hand-building techniques. Your child will make a few small objects in clay, which will be fired and glazed (collection roughly 3 weeks after).
From 6-7 years old.

Inspired by our weekly classes, this time in the Atelier will be dedicated to multiple different art techniques and DIY projects (which could vary depending on the children interests and backgrounds). Drawing, painting, printing, collage or clay making will be on the menu !

During this workshop, the children will discover the animation process and discuss how build a story. They will then make their own setting and characters from scratch with various materials, to finally shoot the result in 2D or 3D in a stop motion short movie.

Come along and let’s recycle some paper together! During this one week camp, the children will learn how to create some new shapes from old ones, using a great material that is surrounding them everyday. They will discover how to make their own paper from scraps and even how to build some simple shapes objects from paper pulp.

Come and learn a bit more about Diwali or Deepavali, the Hindu festival of light! We will play along with some Rangoli stencils, beautiful coloured powders and dyed rice usually used during these celebrations to create mesmerizing patterns.

Stains, scribbles, dots, lines…! This workshop will explore the very joyful painting method developed by Hervé Tullet, a french artist and illustrator. The children will work on different collaborative paintings, based on movement and free self-expression.

This workshop will teach the fundamentals of watercolor painting, or learning how to paint botanicals elements with vibrant colors, controlling the watery paint on the surface of the paper. We will also learn how to enhance your painting with colors fusion and ink elements !

Let’s get crafty with some colored papers! During this session, the children will create some beautiful and colourful paper goods (poster, postcards, collage…) !

During this workshop, the children will discover the amazing silkscreen printing technique ! They will use on to make different projects depending on the length of the workshop (tote bags, posters and more !).

Come and discover the linocut engraving technique! Linocut is a beautiful and simple technique which is a variant of woodcut. After carving, the linoleum sheet is inked and then impressed onto paper of fabric, which allows multiple creative choices, and hours of fun experimenting !

Come and discover the work of Jean Dubuffet ! The children will create their own abstract work using inks and paint. They will imagine some patterns and see how they can interact with them in a visual composition.

For two hours, the children will learn about the basics of perspective drawing. They will be able to represent a space in 3D using simple shapes and shadows. They will discover the use of vanishing points and horizon line to build their drawing in a more realistic way.

During this two afternoons workshop, the children will learn how to create some new shapes from old ones, using a great material that is surrounding them everyday: paper! They will discover how to make their own paper from scraps and to assemble their new creations into a personalised notebook.

Let’s experiment with lines & color while discovering the work of several artists for whom these notions were very important! During this workshop the children will be able to become familiar with Gaston Chaissac, Jean Dubuffet, Fernand Léger or Keith Haring, while exploring their own creativity!
